Get bonus World of Hyatt points with your American Airlines flights

Did you know that if you link your World of Hyatt and American Airlines accounts, you’ll get bonus Hyatt points for every dollar you spend with American Airlines? Me neither!!

I have the World of Hyatt credit card and was considering to purchase a plane ticket on American Airlines earlier today. I logged on to the World of Hyatt website to check on my points and lo’ and behold, I saw this:

How cool is that?!! I can’t believe I’ve been living under a rock all these while LOL

So before you purchase your American Airlines flights, make sure you link your accounts first. If you are World of Hyatt Discoverist level and higher you can link your account here.

Your name must match exactly on both accounts. Like totally and word-for-word exactly. If not, contact Hyatt via email at WorldOfHyatt@hyatt.com and get them to correct your name on your World of Hyatt account. I had to do this because my legal name is so long and it’s not consistent across different accounts. Everyone is confused. 🤣
